Mr. Keita Maruyama
Congratulations to all the winners and my compliments to those who have participated in this fashion show.
Today I was intentioned to give you some straightforward advice, but looking to you I remember how I was 20 years ago. This time I had the impression to deal with strong creations which convey all the efforts and the time you spent in realizing them. Still, in my opinion many creations’ inspiration and the message the clothes was suppose to convey in some way weakened along the way. You seem to have a static focal point in your creative work.
Maybe before rushing in the realization of your creation you should have considered well your purpose and be focused on that.
I think myself to be in the middle of it, but as a professional I can say that at the beginning, when you are an amateur, it is possible that you choose the wrong pattern, the wrong stitching or colour, but your creations has always to convey what you want to be, create, and transmit.
I wish that today with the end of this fashion show you wouldn’t give up your dedication, and that always remembering about the creations you have realized for today’s runway show, you would keep improving.
I would like to congratulate with the winner of this contest, Mr Titipon Chitsantisook as his creation conveys perfectly the purpose and the idea that have inspired the entire work and this is one of the most outstanding creations.
Mr. Bernhard Willhelm
Thank you very much for inviting me to attend to the final selection of the New Designer Fashion Grand Prix.
I would like to congratulate all the winner but also with those who have not won this year.
I am very glad to have the opportunity to see new and original creations. Fashion for me is to mix. Mixing unusual and different elements. Also mingling different types of people. And it is important that all these elements in fashion is in a harmonious way.
I wish you a bright future in your works.
Ms. Hanae Mori
I really appreciated the fashion show and all the creations I saw and I congratuelate to all, your creations were really interesting to me.
I am really glad to be able to meet young designers from all over the world and I wish them to grow as professional designers.
The creations I saw today more than clothes to wear seemed to be near to modern art and reflect the problem of today’s world. I hope that from now on you will think also about the people who actually wear the clothes but I am glad that you are sensitive also to surrounding reality and you are putting so much effort in making it better.
We live in a world where we can do everything with the help of computers and machines, but as a designer I was very happy to see your good hand made work.
